Hotel Inn of Lompoc (Lompoc, USA)

A number of guests commented that while the accommodation and amenities here are basic, this hotel is well-situated for access to Lompoc and the surrounding areas. Many also found it to be considerably good value in comparison to other nearby hotels.

Many commented very positively on the overall size and spaciousness of their rooms, a delightful yet unexpected aspect of their stay at this budget property. Overall, a number of guests also noted that this hotel was kept very clean and tidy. Also, while there have been some reports of hit-or-miss reception staff, it appears that things are improving on this front, with recent guests commenting on the friendly front desk team.

Guests here also loved the manager's reception/happy hour, especially the free wine.

There were lots of reports of problems with showers, with many guests reporting loose fixtures and even some who were entirely unable to regulate the temperature. Some also noted that shower doors didn't seem to fit flush to the floor of units.

Multiple guests reported problems with air conditioning. While some simply found their units to be too loud, a very high number of guests' rooms were totally lacking this amenity. For many, this made for an extremely uncomfortable night's sleep.

There were lots of reports here of missing in-room amenities, especially coffee and coffee pots. For those with early starts, this was a particular disappointment, as was the breakfast, which some felt lacked variety and was simply too carb-heavy. Others noted that items were not replenished regularly.
