Nimmu House is a century old noble house nestled at 3100 of altitude in the heart of Himalayan panoramas, at only 45 minutes of Leh. Originally built for the cousin of the king of Ladakh, Nimmu House is a jewel of ladakhi architecture that has been converted in 2013 into a charming boutique hotel offering both authenticity and comfort to travelers looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in Ladakh. Nimmu House is the ideal place to disconnect and recharge batteries, enjoying a fresh breeze far from the noise of busy cities. The hotel provides an exclusive and convivial atmosphere, with only 11 rooms and tents. The heritage rooms are located on the 1st floor of the building and offer breathtaking mountain views. The luxury tents are scattered throughout the orchard that surrounds the house, where hammocks and long chairs have been installed to relax under apricot trees. Each accommodation features either a king size bed or twin bed, and has been decorated with taste and respect for Ladakhi tradition. All rooms and tents provide all the comfort needed for a relaxing stay, with daily housekeeping and a private ensuite bathroom with solar-heated water, soap and shampoo.
