Positive Reviews
positive:
Location is interesting and convenient
Numerous visitors have singled out the hotel's setting for praise, mostly because it is relatively close to Kuramae metro station and an easy walk to Asakusa's shopping areas and main tourist sites (temple, Skytree). Having some lovely river views/walks, as well as a handy river cruise boat station (which goes to Odaiba) so close by was considered a big plus too.
positive:
Skytower views are pretty sensational
It's fair to say gazing upon Tokyo's landmark Skytower, especially when it's beautifully lit up at night, never gets boring. Unsurprisingly, a great many guests who were lucky enough to have views of this spell-binding structure from their rooms raved about their good fortune.
positive:
Nice and quiet at night
A significant number of visitors drew attention to the fact that this hotel - and the immediate area surrounding it - is, in general, lovely and quiet at night time. Suffice to say, this is seldom the case elsewhere in this huge, buzzing metropolis.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Guest rooms aren't the best
As well as their diminutive size, many guests reported dissatisfaction with the overall state of the accommodations here. Mouldy sink areas and grubby walls were the most frequently highlighted areas of concern.
negative:
Wi-Fi isn't reliable
Lots of visitors have complained about the temperamental nature of the hotel's free Wi-Fi - the signal is often weak and keeps dropping out.
negative:
There's no room cleaning service
Despite being a business hotel, this property operates ostensibly as a serviced apartment complex as it only instructs housekeeping to clean the rooms of those visitors who are willing to pay extra for the privilege. The vast majority of guests who stayed here did not approve of this set-up.
