Guests rooms at Super 8 Prospect Heights have recently been refurbished and feature lovely decor, new carpet and bathroom tiles and comfortable beds.  Also reported was very clean rooms with tons of space and excellent air-conditioning.

Many of the places guests are going to want to access in Prospect Heights are within a short distance of this hotel and many things, including restaurants and shops, are within walking distance.  Guests also reported that they felt safe walking around the area at all hours of the day.

Guests reported that maintenance staff work around the clock to ensure that the hotel and its grounds are clean and well-maintained.  The fitness center is spotless with plenty of equipment that all works, the parking area is swept up frequently by maintenance staff and the lobby is cozy and inviting.

Guests reported that it's a real chore trying to get the front-desk staff to do anything.  Staff members seem like they are bothered when approached and they are unfriendly, they refuse to honor simple requests, they tend to argue with guests and pass blame rather than deal with issues and the cleaning staff enter rooms without knocking even when the "do not disturb" sign is on the door.

Non-smoking guests reported that although they requested a non-smoking room, they were put in a smoking room.  The smell of stale cigarette smoke can still be detected in these rooms even though staff insists guests are lying and there are even cigarette burns in some of the furnishings and bedding.

There have been reports of shady activity going on around the hotel and at times, the police are required to show up.
