About Modena By Fraser Hong Kong
In Kowloon’s ever-lively Tsim Sha Tsui district, this modern, high-rise hotel is just four minutes’ walk from the hustle and bustle of Nathan Road. Along with its impressive location, Hotel Citadines Ashley Hongkong offers striking views.
Modern studio apartments with wood floors and orange colour bursts provide kitchenettes, lounge areas and balconies. Safes and sofa-beds are also standard features, as are work desks and flat-screen TVs/DVD players. Most rooms afford city views.
Laundry and dry cleaning services are available at a fee from the 24-hour reception. Free Wi-Fi can be accessed throughout the property.
Although the hotel doesn’t provide any dining options of its own, there is a coffee shop in the building. A plethora of eateries (including the wonderful Castro's right next door), bars and clubs are nearby.
Hotel Citadines Ashley Hongkong is a five-minute walk from Tsim Sha Tsui metro station and a seven-minute stroll from the Star Ferry Pier.

Right in the heart of Kowloon
If you're keen to stay right in the very heart of Kowloon's buzzing Tsim Sha Tsui district then this place is likely to tick all your boxes. Along with must-see sights like Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars, this hotel is within easy striking distance of Kowloon Park and both the History and Science Museums. Having so many dining and drinking options right on your doorstep, as well as numerous transport (metro/bus/ferry) options very close by, is the icing on the cake.

You get a free mobile phone!
The hotel thoughtfully leaves a mobile phone in each guest room to help visitors make the most of their time in Hong Kong. This means that, as well as invaluable services like a city guide and hotel information, you get calls, 3G services and Wi-Fi all for free for the entire duration of your stay. How cool is that?
positive:
Some wonderful views on offer
Most of the guest rooms in this high-rise tower block afford some rather splendid views of the city. If you're lucky then you may get one of the south-facing rooms which look out over Victoria Harbour. Simply stunning, especially at night.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Can be noisy at night
Music, sirens, singing, shouting, braking, ringing and bellowing (horns) make up the street-level soundtrack in Tsim Sha Tsui between dusk and dawn. You may want to invest in some ear plugs (good ones) if you get allocated a room on one of the lower floors.
negative:
Guest rooms are due a refurb
Numerous visitors have been less-than-impressed by the somewhat fatigued state of many of the accommodations and guest bathrooms. Nothing a strategic revamp won't sort out.
negative:
Lifts are small and slow
Guests reported lifts to be slow and tiny, so hope you don't get a room on the top floor!
