Positive Reviews
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff
It was hard to find a bad word written about the staff. On the contrary, guests after guest mentioned that they were very friendly in general, and always willing to go out of their way to help them with their query or issue.
positive:
Great location for the casinos
By far the majority of guests were in the area to visit one, or more, of the nearby casinos. They felt that the hotel was well situated for this, allowing them to reach all the casinos by a short drive or cab ride, enabling them to spend more time to allow luck to turn to their favor.
positive:
Very low room rates
While guests didn’t directly bring up the question of value for money, plenty did comment that the room rate they received was very low indeed. They felt that it was certainly one of the most reasonably priced ways to get a roof over their head in the area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Problems with cleanliness
A worrying number of guests reported fairly serious cleanliness issues in their room. These ranged from nail clippings left lying around to dirty and stained sheets, but whatever the problem was, it did not impress the guests.
negative:
Old style TV’s
Many guests got a bit of a shock walking into their room to find an old cathode ray tube TV sitting on the counter. The hotel has reported that they are in the process of replacing these, but the fact is that, as of June 2016, this process had not been completed, leaving may rooms with the old-style sets.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi
Far too many guests for comfort mentioned that they had major problems with the Wi-Fi system. The complaint was usually quite simple. They often found that they were unable to connect to the network.
