Positive Reviews
positive:
Very convenient location
Guests absolutely loved the location of the hotel. It was just off the interstate, which made finding it and getting around the area very easy. Guests also liked being so close to Pooler, and within decent driving distance of Savannah as well.
positive:
Remarkably quiet
Despite being so close to the interstate, many guests mentioned that their room was a relative haven of peace and quiet. It may be that the rooms have good soundproofing, but light sleepers are still advised to request a room facing away from the highway
positive:
Kept very clean
The vast majority of guests felt that their room was perfectly clean on check-in. The also felt that housekeeping did a good job keeping it in a reasonable state during the course of their stay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No elevator
Although the hotel is only two stories high, several guests still missed having an elevator available. It wasn’t so much that they minded walking up and down the stairs once but it did get tiring making multiple trips per day. Those with mobility issues should request a room on the first floor.
negative:
Disappointing breakfast
Guests didn’t seem to think much of the breakfast. About the most praise it received was that it was “OK”. A common criticism was that it was almost 100% carbohydrate based, and hade precious little for diabetics and those on gluten-free and low-carb diets.
negative:
Hotel is understaffed
Quite a number of guests expressed the opinion that the hotel was understaffed. They noticed personnel performing several functions at different times, and felt that this was perhaps the reason for the sometimes slow service they encountered.
