Hotel Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh (Raleigh, USA)

Many guests felt that the friendliness of the reception staff was the highlight of their stay at this hotel. While they were often unable to actually help with some of the issues guests had, they were nevertheless said to have a positive attitude and at least try to assist.

Guests mentioned that the room rate here was very low compared to other hotels in the area, and that it was a cheap way to at least get a roof over your head.

Guests felt that they were reasonably close to some decent shopping and dining. They didn’t feel like they had to travel far for these.

An incredible number of guests reported issues surrounding marijuana in the building. Most of the complaints were simply that people were smoking it in their rooms and elsewhere and they didn’t like the smell, but others had more serious complaints. Some were convinced that the hotel was allowing its premises to be used for drug dealing.

The overwhelming majority of guests were very happy with the state of cleanliness of their room. There was a long list of issues, from roach infestations to weird and unpleasant smells, but whatever the issues guests were not at all happy about having to spend a night in those conditions.

Guests really didn’t much care for the immediate neighborhood. Many said that there was a very rough looking crowd hanging around outside the building and that it was obvious that the area outside was used for both drug dealing and prostitution.
