Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent customer service.
Again and again guests would mention how wonderful the hotel’s staff were, especially those on reception duties. They were said to be incredibly welcoming and calm, professional and above all helpful, under even trying conditions.
positive:
Extremely comfortable beds
An incredible number of guests raved about the beds. They found them to be exceptionally comfortable, which enabled them to get a good night’s rest. Since there were very few complaints to speak of, it seems reasonable to conclude that the hotel has managed to select a mattress with truly broad appeal.
positive:
Spotlessly clean
Even guests who described themselves as very demanding when it comes to cleanliness, felt that housekeeping did an excellent job, both in cleaning the room to a very high standard before they checked in, a well as keeping them in tip top shape during the course of their visit.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor soundproofing
Guests were clearly not impressed with the level of soundproofing achieved in the rooms. There were many complaints, but the most common ones typically mentioned that sound from the hallways could easily be heard. Guests felt that the door was an especially weak point when it came to the room’s sound insulation.
negative:
Parking lot a bit rough
A number of guests reported that the parking lot looked like it had seen better days…many years ago. The main complaint was that it was full of potholes, making those driving regular cars worried they would damage the undercarriage.
negative:
Some distance from the casino
Guests who had come to try their luck at the Kickapoo Casino were disappointed to find that it was some distance to the south, and also that there was no shuttle available.
