Positive Reviews
positive:
Quiet and convenient location.
Guests rave about the location, as the hotel is set on the quieter side of the canal and most find the nights very peaceful and quiet. It is well connected by public transportation. With the Schwendplatz station within a few minutes walk, guests can quickly and easily take the U-Bahn to any of the central Vienna sights and attractions. The historic city centre is only about fifteen minutes away on foot.
positive:
Clean and roomy rooms.
Most guests find the rooms to be sparkling clean, with comfortable, modern furnishings. Some describe the rooms as spacious, while others note that the rooms are not so much large as very efficiently arranged. Kids of all ages love the rubber duckie in the bathroom. The beds are generally described as very comfortable, if on the firmer side, and guests in the Privilege Rooms appreciate their extra touches, such as the complimentary minibar and Nespresso machine.
positive:
Friendly, helpful staff.
The front desk generally receive high marks for their friendly, professional service. Tourists were pleased to receive maps and directions to nearby sights upon check-in, and the few guests who had trouble accessing the complimentary Wi-Fi were pleased to find that the reception staff could sort their troubles out quickly and cheerfully.

Climate control issues...
Though most guests found the temperature in their room to be comfortable, the air conditioning in the guest rooms cannot be set below 20C, which a few guests found too warm.
negative:
For your information...
Though most guests rate the customer service highly, an unlucky smaller group found the reception staff on duty to be uninformed about restaurants and attractions in the area.
negative:
Don't drink the water...
A few guests were unpleasantly surprised by the price tags on the bottled water in standard rooms.
