Positive Reviews
positive:
Generously proportioned rooms.
Guests love the size of the rooms, which provide plenty of space for work and play. From inviting sofas in the larger rooms, to good-sized desks where you can work, and plenty of room for storing luggage and moving around in, you should enjoy a very comfortable stay at MDM.
positive:
Great breakfast selection.
The breakfast seems to have the wow factor, and guests love the wide selection on offer. It's buffet-style, so you can create your breakfast, your way, whether you want satisfying, hot dishes, or something light and healthy. There's enough choice to have something completely different each day.
positive:
City centre location.
Guests rate the central location, since it makes getting around Warsaw very easy. Plus, there are numerous restaurants and bars on the doorstep, so you're not limited to eating at the hotel all the time. There are good public transport links nearby too.
Negative Reviews
negative:
External noise can be an issue.
The upshot of the central location is that there can be
quite a lot of noise from passing traffic and people. Guests say that even with
the windows closed, the external noise is an issue, so if you're a light
sleeper, you may want to pack earplugs.
negative:
There's no air-conditioning.
Guests visiting in the summer have been left a bit uncomfortable, since the hotel has no air conditioning. If you open the windows, then you have to put up with the full force of the noise from the square, so options for complete comfort in the heat are limited.
negative:
Housekeeping is erratic.
Some guests have reported that the standards of housekeeping aren't quite up to scratch at MDM - while the hotel is generally clean, issues like dirty towels not being replaced can be an annoyance. You may have to contact reception to get replacement towels or sheets when you need them.
