If you are in need of a place to stay while in the city but are running on a tight budget, then this place is a great alternative to city hotels. It's still not cheap but taking the train or tube into the city will save you from paying the high rates in the city centre.

There aren't many people working in the guesthouse so you may struggle to find them at times. But when you do they are very friendly and more than willing to help out with directions or help in booking a taxi.

If you like to cook for yourself, then you'll find that the kitchens here are a great advantage. They are pretty well equipped, and you can buy your food from the local Tesco that is just a ten-minute walk away.

There are some that will argue that this place offers great rates for accommodation in London, but many guests still feel that it is overpriced for what it is. The rooms are basic and not too modern while the shared bathrooms aren't too great.

This place has seen better days with the carpets being singled out by some guests as something that would make them reconsider staying here again. There are stains and a bit of a smell in places making some feel uncomfortable in their rooms.
