This boutique hotel is brimming with history and elegance, a truly charming building that retains much of its original appearance. Staying here is a much different experience compared to the many modern and generic hotels in Sydney.

If you are a fan of sports you'll love this place, it's just a 15 minute walk to the Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket & Sports Ground Trust. You're also very close to the centre of Sydney, and just three kilometres from the Sydney Opera House.

Expect a warm welcome when you arrive at this hotel, the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Any requests are dealt with professionally and politely, so ask for anything that you need while staying here.

Not all the corners of this hotel are being kept clean, and if you're an unlucky guest you might be put in a room with cobwebs in the corners and dust on the windowsills. If you're unhappy with the cleanliness bring it up with reception.

If you enjoy a large filling breakfast to set you up for the day then you could be disappointed with what is served up here. The breakfast is of the small continental kind which doesn't cater for all tastes.

This hotel is unmistakably old, but that doesn't mean it can't be properly maintained. Dirty carpets need to be replaced and water leaking through the roof needs to be fixed. Some careful renovation work would go a long way here.
