It doesn't add up to just get the one-day fitness centre pass. Get the longer version. When you sit down to work out the finances you'll find it really is the more beneficial option.

Compared with staying in a hotel, the prospect of being able to relax in your own ‘spacious space' and do your own thing is a no-brainer. There's friendly help and advice, if you need it, from the on-site staff. The almost immediate access to food stores and restaurants means that you'll never go hungry … or die of thirst!

Staying here certainly brings a smile to the face. The Formula Fitness pool and gymnasium are open 24 hours. Local food stores now include a ‘super Marianos', just a couple of blocks away. Greek Town's restaurants are nearby. All the services required are available either on, or slightly off-site. Union Station is also nearby.

When they are around, members of staff are really helpful and friendly. Come ‘knocking off time', though and … whoosh, they've vanished. Also, it's quite a complicated building so clearer directions to the accommodation wouldn't go amiss.

Things such as the TV are beginning to look old and out of place. You are fully aware of the next door neighbours because of the lack of soundproofing. Similarly, the ventilation system is set up so that their cooking smells waft into your accommodation.

The location makes it ideal for visiting business folk and conference delegates. It doesn't have the same appeal for tourists as it's off the beaten tourist track. It's not central to the things that they need to see.
