The location of the hotel is not flowing with tourist; however, it has plenty of French culture, it is also in an ethnic area, and there is plenty to do. The atmosphere is relaxing enough, it works! It's Fine For The Price For Paris and for the location, the price is right. It's close to two major train stations, which makes it quite easy to get around.

The hotel is gracious enough to allow you to leave your luggage at the reception for a small fee, even after you've checked out of the hotel. This is a fantastic convenience, especially if you are leaving much later in the day and want to see the sights a little longer.

The hotel is right next door to the police station, which in itself is not such a bad thing; however, you may see some bizarre incidents during your stay. The area of the hotel is a bit dirty as well.

The rooms are so-so. You might find that the fixtures are not attached securely to the wall. In addition, there is only one socket in the room and towels, linens, and such may be soiled. There have been complaints of mould in the grout in the bathroom. Perhaps these things are OK if you are only staying a night or two.

You may find little annoying creatures crawling on the floor or wall. If creepy crawlies do not bother you, you'll be fine.
