Positive Reviews
positive:
Terrific location near Branson Landing
Of course it had to be the location that most impressed guests during their stay. Pretty much all were holidaymakers and they really appreciated being just steps away from Branson Landing, with its many restaurants, tourist attractions and other amenities.
positive:
Peaceful and quite atmosphere
Guest after guest remarked on just how peaceful and quiet the property was. There did not seem to be any major problems with noise from outside, and guests mentioned that the inn did not seem to attract people who were inconsiderate and made a racket.
positive:
The wrap around porch
The wrap around porch was perhaps guest's favourite part of the inn; even more popular than the pool. Guests loved being able to sit in the shade and watch the world go by.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Is showing its age
Quite a number of guests said that the interior really was starting to show its age. The building is more than 100 years old, and the feeling seemed to be that the owners were starting to lose the battle to keep such a building in tip top shape. They believed the interior would likely need quite extensive renovations to correct all the issues.
negative:
Bathrooms a bit small
Like many historical properties, the bathrooms here were said to be quite small. It may be that they were installed later, and there was not much room for them, but whatever the reason, guests found them a bit awkward to use as a result of their size.
negative:
Rooms had a musty smell
A bit too many guests for comfort reported that there was a bit of a musty smell in their room, indicating that the hotel may have issues with rising damp.
