Positive Reviews
positive:
Nice pool and hot tub
It was undoubtedly the outdoor pool deck that guest most enjoyed during their stay. Even those not actually swimming or using the hot tub liked the atmosphere and the ability to sit back and absorb some sunshine. Those using the pool liked it for its ability to help them cool down a little.
positive:
The waffles
On the whole, the breakfast was well received, with guests saying it was a varied spread. Of particular note where the waffles. Like other La Quinta hotels, this one has waffle machines that allow guests to make their own, resulting in delicious and piping hot waffles on their plate.
positive:
Attractions nearby
Guests seemed to like the location of the hotel. Many said that it was close to useful attractions, including a park suitable for the whole family, with other family friendly attractions like the zoo reasonably nearby.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No bathroom ventilation
Though not brought up often, guests staying at different times reported that thee was either no ventilation at all, or insufficient ventilation, in their bathroom. Of course this created an environment a bit too much like a steam room for their liking.
negative:
Slow elevator
Considering that the building is a low-rise with just three floors guests had no idea why they had to stand around for so long before the elevator arrived. Some speculated that it was because there was only one elevator for the whole building, but whatever the reason, they found it a little frustrating.
negative:
Bit of a noisy environment
Guests mentioned various sources of noise, from other guest's dogs barking to the TV in the next room. They seemed to feel that the rooms were not sufficiently soundproofed, causing unsettled sleep for some.
