Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham McKinney (McKinney, USA)

It was probably the attitude of its staff that most impressed guests about the hotel. Guests were in virtual complete agreement that they were not only very friendly, but also carried out their duties with a very professional bearing. It gave guests a lot of confidence that their concerns and requests were being taken seriously.

While some distance out of the center of McKinney, this fact did not seem to bother any guests. They liked the fact that the hotel was very close to the Sam Rayburn Tollway since they could quickly access the highway and immediately be speeding along to their final destination.

It was hard to find an unkind word written about the breakfast. It was described as well prepared, and consisting of enough variety that all but the pickiest of eaters could find something they liked.

The La Quinta Group is very well known for its exceptionally pet-friendly policies. As a result, many guests traveling with their dogs choose to stay at these hotels. Sometimes things do not always work out smoothly, and some reported that barking dogs in the building could cause a disturbance at almost any time of day.

Unusually for the La Quinta Group, many guests at this property complained about the Wi-Fi. The main issue seemed to be that it was unreliable, with some being unable to connect when they really needed to. It was most frustrating.

A couple of guests expressed their opinion that, while the building looked fairly new, it was already showing signs of age. They blamed this on poor or inconsistent maintenance, and felt standards were not being maintained.
