Positive Reviews
positive:
Amazing pet-friendly policies
Like other hotels in the La Quinta Group, this one has exceptionally pet-friendly policies in place. Pet owners really seemed to appreciate being treated pretty much like any other guest, with both themselves and their pets warmly welcomed, and not being charged a higher room rate because they had brought their beloved pet.
positive:
Very comfortable beds
It seems that the hotel has come very close to achieving the impossible by selecting a mattress with near universal appeal. Guest after guest reported that it was exceptionally comfortable - in many cases, more comfortable than their own mattress back home.
positive:
Newer style key cards
Though not often mentioned, it was reported that the hotel uses the newer style key cards that only need to be waved in front of the lock, even from within a wallet, to open the door.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast room much too small
This was perhaps the most common compliant. While reviews of the actual food were mixed, guests traveling at busy times were unanimous in saying that the breakfast room was simply much too small to accommodate the number of guests checked in.
negative:
Convenient in-room microwave and fridge
Since not all hotels have these installed as standard, the guests really seemed to appreciate the convenience of having them available. They found it great that they could keep their cold drinks cold and heat up a quick snack before settling down to watch a favorite show.
negative:
Difficult access from Highway-89
There were a few guests who pointed out that access to the hotel was awkward if coming in via Highway-89 from the south. There was a median that prevented them from turning left, so they had to travel on for some distance before doing a u-turn.
