Positive Reviews
positive:
Remarkably quiet
Considering that the hotel is very close to two interstate's guests found that their room was remarkably quiet. It is possible that good soundproofing materials were used in construction, but whatever the reason, guests were happy to be able to sleep in relative peace and quiet.
positive:
Exceptionally comfortable beds
While it is notoriously difficult for hotels to select a mattress with broad appeal, simply because tastes vary so much, it seems that this one might have gotten it right. Guests who commented on the beds invariably said that they found them to be incredibly comfortable.
positive:
Close to BART station
While the hotel is some distance from San Francisco, several guests mentioned that the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station was a very short distance from the hotel, and that the city could be reached from there.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some questions about value for money
Quite a number of guests questioned whether the hotel should have charged as much as it did. While they appreciated that hotels in the Bay area are expensive, this one is very far from San Francisco. Considering what it offered many felt they received poor value for money.
negative:
Staff not always welcoming
While the staff did also receive some compliments, there were far too many complaints for comfort. Many guests reported tat the reception staff did not make the feel welcome on arrival and that it was hard to get staff to do anything aside from the bare minimum.
negative:
Breakfast not a hit
It was hard to find a kind word written about the breakfast. Guest after guest mentioned that it had very little variety, and even foods that were available would often run out and not be promptly replaced, leaving some very hungry and frustrated diners.
