Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient location near the I-94
While it did create some issues with noise, most guests wouldn't have changed the location of the hotel, right near an exit in the I-95. They found it incredibly convenient to be able to quickly access the highway and be on their way to their business meeting or other destination.
positive:
Exceptionally pet friendly
As with other La Quinta hotels, this one was described as exceptionally pet-friendly. It wasn't merely that dogs were (grudgingly) allowed, but that they were actively welcomed. Also, guests didn't get the sense that they were allocated separate, and inferior, rooms because they brought along their dog.
positive:
Very spacious rooms
Whatever small issues guests had with their rooms here or there, size certainly wasn't one of them. Several mentioned that even their standard room was exceptionally spacious, and more than big enough for the number of people booked in.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Lack of gluten-free products
While it certainly didn't apply to all guests, a minority mentioned that the breakfast available offered pretty much nothing at all for those who were on a gluten-free diet. Considering the popularity of this lifestyle nowadays, they felt the hotel should be making some gluten-free foods available.
negative:
Noise from the nearby highway
Unfortunately, the convenience of having the I-94 so nearby did not come without a cost. Some guests complained that the rooms were poorly soundproofed and that the sound of the cars zooming by disturbed their sleep.
negative:
Not many restaurants nearby
While there were a couple of restaurants within walking distance, a few guest mentioned that there was not exactly a good variety to choose from. They felt that they needed to get in their car and drive for at least a short while to access good quality restaurants.
