Positive Reviews
positive:
Nice location and amenities to always keep busy.
The pool, gym, and spa facilities are clean, and the sports bar is a welcoming spot to unwind after the business agenda is done for the day. Should you want to explore the area outside of the hotel, there's plenty of leisure and entertainment for when you have free time.
positive:
Clean and decent lodgings serve their purpose.
The rooms are cosy, spacious, and well maintained, and offer a decent space for when you need to retire after meetings and other parts of your schedule. Nothing overly fancy, yet it's the simplicity that's promoted, and it's what's presented.
positive:
Very helpful staff make your stay fun and easy.
The dedicated staff will help with transport, tickets, directions, and whatever else you need while you explore the Buckinghamshire region. If you let them know where you may be going, they'll give you insider knowledge, as well as little extras, such as extra bottled water and ear plugs.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Food options and management are disappointing.
Many feel like they're back in secondary school or university, since that's what the food reminds them of. Limited choices, poor quality and quantity, and dining management that's not smooth or efficient create a bad impression for this portion of the hotel service.
negative:
Beds are lumpy and make sleeping uncomfortable.
For some, the beds are too firm or too lumpy, and also too small, for a restful sleep. The linens and pillows have also been criticised as not fluffy or comfy enough.
negative:
Decor and setting too bland for a business centre.
It would be nicer if Kents Hill Park Training and Conference Centre had more colour and pizzazz to its interior. Just because the purpose of staying here is all about business, doesn't mean it has to be so drab and unexciting.
