Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean and comfortable rooms...
Most guests enjoy a great night's sleep as the reasonably new beds are easily customized for each guest's preferences, and the hotel's location on a one-way side street ensures that traffic noise is not an issue. Guests in the Privilege Rooms appreciate their extra touches, such as the complimentary minibar and Nespresso machine, and the Klimt-inspired decor is a hit with many.
positive:
An ideal location for sightseeing...
Guests can reach most of the major tourist sites, such as Hofburg, Volksgarten, Museumsquartier and Burgtheater, in about ten minutes on foot. Those who wish to explore further can easily catch the U-Bahn at the Rathaus or Volkstheater stations, just a few steps from the hotel entrance. There are also many restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby.
positive:
Friendly, professional staff...
Many guests give the reception team high marks for their friendly, helpful service, and often note that "nothing is too much trouble" for them. Guests also agree that the housekeeping staff does a great job in both the rooms and the public areas.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Tea doesn't come standard...
Several guests were surprised to find that the standard rooms do not include kettles, though they are available upon request. Other commonly reported issues in the standard rooms include noisy or insufficient air-conditioning, and lack of space. Privilege Rooms are generally considered to be worth the extra expense.
negative:
Breakfast too rich for some...
Guests who book rooms with the continental breakfast included generally enjoy it, while those who opt to pay for it separately often find it a bit overpriced, particularly given that there are many other options nearby.
negative:
No room at the bar...
The bar is in a corner of the lobby and also staffed by the reception team, so the selection is a bit limited and it can get crowded quickly.
