Hotel Il Moro di Venezia (Venice, Italy)

Most of the guests liked the strategic location of this hotel because of its close proximity to the train station as well as the Piazelle Roma bus stop. This was especially convenient for guests who arrived late with loads of luggage as they could just walk down from the station to the hotel. Many famous museums and theatres were also close to the hotel, which was a bonus for all the guests out on sight-seeing.

Guests loved the good spread of breakfast that was served here in a separate dining room. It included eggs, breads, juices and many baked goodies like croissants.

Most of the guests found the hotel staff right from the reception to the house keeping to be very helpful and friendly. They felt that a smiling and courteous staff goes a long way in making the stay of the guests comfortable.

Guests were very disappointed by the tiny rooms which were nothing like the ones shown on the hotel website. The rooms were in need of re-decoration and did not even have enough space to open up the suitcases. Bathrooms were also very small. Moreover, the rooms looked dingy because of very poor lighting.

There were bed bugs all over the bed that bit and caused a lot of itching. Bed linen and towels were not changed every day. There were mosquitoes in the room that did not let some guests sleep at all at night.

Some of the guests had a terrible night as they could not sleep because of the noise from the adjacent street. Room walls are very thin and they could not open their windows because of the high noise levels.
