Hôtel Résidence du Golf (Calais, France)

This hotel is conveniently located close to the motorway and in very good shape for the Eurotunnel and ferry, making it a prime location from which to explore from. The beach is also located nearby.

Some rooms offer a view of the sea which guests say is absolutely beautiful.

If you're travelling with your pet, this hotel is willing and able to accommodate you and your furry friends.

The idea of a kitchenette is great, but not if they lack the basics like dishware, cutlery, glassware, crockery, utensils, etc. This hotel does lack those basics. You would have to bring your own, and as several guests say, who can do that on a vacation?

Registration and check-in are located at the sister hotel next door, which is not consistently manned, so you may not find anyone to actually help you, which needless to say can be very frustrating after a long day of travel.

Guests say the staff at this hotel are not very friendly and not interested in helping you out or providing any services. Some guests even say the staff is actually negative toward guests, making for a very unpleasant experience.
