Positive Reviews
positive:
Walking distance to Paris highlights.
For public transport, the hotel conveniently sits between the Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame RER and two metro stations, Mabillon and Saint Germaine des Preis. Many sites and attractions are within walking distance. Rue de Buci, for example, is a 2-minute walk away which features a market on Tuesdays and Sundays. Notre Dame Cathedral is a 12-minute walk from the hotel and Eugène-Delacroix Museum is 4-minutes’ walk away.
positive:
Cosy rooms in a lively neighbourhood.
While the rooms are compact, they are also comfortable, decorated in beautiful French decor and kept clean and tidy. The neighbourhood is lively with cafes and shops, yet most guests stated that it was not noisy and they were able to sleep soundly.
positive:
Helpful staff.
The staff are reportedly friendly and attentive. You can expect staff to assist you with public transport information, give ideas on things to do and make recommendations on places to visit.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very small rooms.
Several guests complained about the size of the rooms, stating that the rooms and bathroom areas were tiny. In the smallest rooms, you may also find that there was a lack of adequate storage space for storing their clothes and other items.
negative:
Noisy on the street side.
Some guests who had rooms facing the main street, Rue Dauphine, were disturbed by the street noise, particularly at night. The sound of music from neighbouring bars and cafes, traffic and people on the streets can be quite noisy.
negative:
Alternative locations for breakfast.
Some guests found the breakfast to be mediocre and not enjoyable. There are several cafes and bakeries in the nearby area which are recommended to try instead.
