A home away from home...
The rooms are widely described as very bright, clean, and comfortable, with hot showers and cozy beds. Guests often comment on the clever, space-maximizing layout that includes a sitting area and full kitchen (in Residence Rooms), as well as the speedy free Wi-Fi.
positive:
Eat, drink, and be merry...
Many guests enjoy waking up to the complimentary breakfast, noting that the offerings are of better quality and heartier than your usual continental fare; the made to order omelet bar is particularly popular. The food at the hotel restaurant also gets many thumbs-up, and top marks go to the friendly bar staff as well. The outdoor patio is an inviting spot, though some guests wish their fellow travelers weren't allowed to smoke there.
positive:
Mix business with pleasure...
The hotel offers competitive extended stay options, and it is popular with those commuting to local tech firms, many of which are within the free shuttle's five-mile radius. On the weekend, you can get to downtown Seattle in about 15 minutes, not much further than downtown Bellevue.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Skip the sofa beds...
A comfortable sofa bed is a rare find, and it seems that the Hyatt House is not a treasure trove in this regard. Squeaky springs and thin mattresses are commonly reported issues.
negative:
Big fish, small pond...
The pool and fitness areas are widely described as well-maintained but a little small for the size of the property. Also, the treadmills have a view of the pool, rather than the great outdoors, which is a bit awkward for some runners (and swimmers).
negative:
To err is human...
Though the front desk staff receive many rave reviews, a few guests have been disappointed by errors made in the reservation process or delayed responses to reported maintenance issues.
