Positive Reviews
positive:
Home sweet suite...
Guests often say the rooms feel like a real "home away from home" with thanks, in large part, to the convenient kitchenette with its much appreciated full-sized fridge. Families and couples particularly love the extra privacy and space of the one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, generally describing them as well laid out, comfortably furnished in a modern style, and sparkling clean.
positive:
Friendly faces at the front desk...
Guests are happy to find that no matter who is on duty at the front desk, the customer service is the same: friendly, helpful, and professional. The hearty buffet breakfast and weeknight social hours also add a lot of value for hungry travellers.
positive:
A great location for family fun...
Many families (and young-at-heart adults!) choose the hotel for its proximity to Canada's Wonderland, noting it's also very close to Vaughan Mills mall and a wide variety of restaurants. The hotel offers easy access to highway 7 and the 400, but if you don't relish the drive directly into Toronto, you can also make the much shorter trip to the Yorkdale Mall and catch the subway there.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Can't we just all get along?
Some guests have been troubled by noisy neighbours, and are quick to report them to security, who are generally able to resolve the issue. On the other hand, quiet young folk (and their parents) have been offended by security staff and the assumption that they will be a bother.
negative:
The chef's day "off"...
Though the hot breakfast buffet is widely popular, some guests have reported overcooked or lukewarm items, or are simply unable to find something to their taste.
negative:
Lots of fish, small pool...
Guests hoping for a relaxing swim have been disappointed to find the pool on the smaller side, and often filled with kids.
