The comforts of home, and then some...
The guest rooms are described as modern and brightly decorated, with plenty of room for a young family thanks to the sofa sleeper in the comfortable living area. The full-size refrigerators in the kitchenettes are a big plus for extended stay guests, who also appreciate the modestly priced laundry machines right next to the gym. The indoor pool is widely described as well maintained, and is much enjoyed by young guests.
positive:
Courteous, professional staff...
The front desk staff are often praised for their friendly and professional customer service. Hungry guests also give two thumbs up to the breakfast buffet; the DIY waffles, fresh fruit, and the many toppings for hot oatmeal or yogurt are particularly popular.
positive:
A quiet yet convenient location...
The hotel is ideally located for guests who like to enjoy the Nashville's many attractions by day, but prefer a quieter atmosphere at night. The Grand Ole Opry and downtown are within a 10-20 minute commute, and the airport is even closer, though few guests are troubled by the sound of planes overhead.
Negative Reviews
negative:
If insects really bug you...
Ladybugs and Japanese beetles are a seasonal issue in the area, and the hotel seems to be no exception. Guests report that signs explaining the problem are posted at the front desk and spray is available.
negative:
Be a good neighbour...
Light sleepers have reported poor sound insulation between rooms, noting it's possible to overhear conversation at normal volume, so unusually rowdy neighbours take the issue to an unacceptable level.
negative:
Hits and misses in housekeeping...
Though the hotel is widely described as clean, oversights are reported from time to time. The modern design is also too "sterile" for some, and those hoping to cook miss the convenience of a stovetop.
