Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean and comfortable rooms.
Nothing to complain about here. Everything is clean and well maintained and the secluded location, surrounded by 'the lake, gives a feeling of peace and security. Outside, the free car park is well lit and this is another asset in the 'feeling secure' stakes.
positive:
Great airport location.
The hotel is just off the highway and a little over 10 minutes drive from downtown Savannah. You have to drive through the airport to get there, so you can see how close the airport itself is to the hotel.
positive:
Well maintained facilities.
The pool is really appealing and sparkling clean and the indoor whirlpool is a complete knockout! Golfers will rejoice at the stunning views of the local course which is only a few minutes' drive away.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hair today ... and not gone tomorrow!
Rooms aren't very clean, with residue hairs from previous guests all over the floor. They are mean with very limited supplies of toilet rolls, towels and tissues. Plus, the pull out bed does pull out, but you then have to go in search of sheets etc. Room maintenance could be much better .. and still be just adequate.
negative:
Room intrusions.
Sound proofing is nonexistent so you share the noise from other rooms throughout the day and night. There's also a problem with light streaming in; adding to the unlikelihood of a good night's sleep.
negative:
Catering concerns.
They include the cost of breakfast in the tariff and then call it 'free' so you are less likely to complain! It's not very good though; you are better advised to eat out.The food and drink vending machines are a bit like some of the moody staff .. and deserve a good shake to get anything out of them!
