Guests liked the location of the hotel, since the proximity to the highways made it easy to find initially, and very convenient when they were traveling to and from throughout the region.
positive:
Excellent breakfast

Negative Reviews
negative:
In desperate need of renovation
This was perhaps the most common, and most serious, complaint. Guests felt that the entire hotel, including the rooms, was looking very shabby and needed a full renovation from top to bottom if it were to remain competitive.
negative:
Not the best part of town
Guests did not really think much of the neighborhood the hotel is situated in, saying it was one of the less attractive parts of Tyler.
negative:
No seating in the suites
An extraordinary number of guests who had booked a suite found it to be lacking in furniture. They mentioned that, while there was clearly enough space for a couch, or other seating, no such seating was placed there. It was just an empty space, which guests found both uncomfortable and a little odd.
