Truly exceptional staff throughout
One of the first things many guests brought up in their reviews was that the hotel’s staff were simply fantastic. They were praised for being very friendly and welcoming, but in a professional way that seemed to give guests great confidence in their abilities.

An overwhelming majority of guests mentioned that their room was spotlessly clean when they checked in. It seems that housekeeping made sure that it stayed that way for the duration of their stay and also did a terrific job keeping the public areas in pristine condition.

Guests seemed to feel they were getting the best of all possible worlds with the location of the hotel. Walkers and trail runners mentioned that it was right by some excellent trails that they could use for their activities, while others pointed out that, despite the peaceful outlook, it was still close to the highway and so convenient when getting around the region.

This was by far the most common complaint. A number of guests were not happy that the breakfast served at the hotel was not free of charge. Based on experiences at other hotels in the same category, they were clearly expecting at least a simple continental breakfast to have been included.
