Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location in Washington DC
Many guests loved the location of the hotel and felt they are in a safe neighbourhood. The metro is easily accessible not far from the hotel if you want to use public transport, but many of the big attractions can be easily reached on foot if you don't mind to walk a bit. The neighbourhood offers plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to enjoy your evenings.
positive:
Well appointed rooms
The rooms are described as clean and comfortable and offering most of today's amenities that guests enjoy when travelling, like a modern pod coffee machine and fridge. Some rooms offer views and the floor-to-ceiling windows have been described as adding to the atmosphere. Most guests felt they received a good value for their money.
positive:
Good restaurant food
Most guests enjoyed their food in the restaurant if they had a meal there. They felt the food was fresh and well prepared. Room service received good reviews as well.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Mixed staff experiences
While some guests felt well taken care off and experienced a friendly staff, others were not impressed by the service and felt that the front desk could be more helpful especially in providing directions and recommendations for attractions.
negative:
High parking fee
Parking is a steep fee, and many guests felt that the parking fee is way too high. Washington generally provides very little free public parking, so if you come by car, you will have to use one of the many garages or the hotel's service.
negative:
Noise is possible
Some guests encountered a little street noise or noise from neighbouring rooms. It might be helpful to pack some earplugs to get a good night's sleep.
