Negative Reviews
negative:
No complimentary breakfast
Many guests were not at all happy with the breakfast arrangements at the hotel. The main problem seemed to be that it was not included in the room rate, with guests saying that they really expected it to be included, considering what the somewhat expensive room rates and the category of the hotel itself. Also, those who paid for breakfast felt it was much too expensive for what was provided.
negative:
Noise from the road
A number of guests with rooms facing the Overseas Highway reported that they could clearly hear the sound of cars passing by, which did cause some issues at night for light-sleepers.
negative:
Expensive room rates
Many guests were not completely satisfied with the value for money they received during their stay. The main reason was that the room rates were simply considered much too high, while the accommodation itself was no better (or worse) than could be expected of this sort of hotel.
