Guests repeatedly said that all the staff members they encountered were gracious, eager to help and great examples of genuine Southern hospitality. From the valet parking attendants to the front desk staff, you can expect that everyone will do what they can to help, and make you feel valued.

If you choose to get a drink or snack at the bar, doing so might be a highlight of your stay. At least that was the case for many guests, who said the bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and that the setting was very relaxed You can get local brews on tap, too.

The Surrounding Area is Run Down
There were numerous comments that this area of Jackson is far from thriving, and it desperately needs something to revitalize it. Guests spoke of many vacant buildings and said they often avoided walking around near the hotel at night.

The Specialty Beds Don't Always Work
This property has adjustable mattresses so guests can choose their desired firmness. When this feature worked, guests were very pleased with it. However, there were numerous cases where people said they tried to make adjustments but didn't notice any changes.

Some guests were mildly disappointed to find the only parking options are valet, or metered street parking. A few commented that they would have loved if the hotel had its own self parking option.
