Guests were pleased to find that they did not need their cars in order to reach the nearest cafes, bars and restaurants as there were many local amenities within walking distance. Many used the hotel as a base to visit popular attractions such as King’s Island and Cincinnati Zoo which are just a short drive away from the hotel.

The rooms have been described as being tastefully decorated with stylish pieces of furniture and upholstery which were said to look new. Guests appreciated having all the necessary mod-cons in their rooms such as microwaves and fridges as well as ample supplies of tea and coffee.

Guests who dined at the on-site restaurant were full of praise both with regards to the quality of the food and the service. The dishes were said to be well-prepared using quality ingredients whilst the menus were said to feature a wide range of popular items. The waiting staff were described as being attentive and courteous which added to the enjoyment.

Poor soundproofing.
The walls were said to be rather thin as guests objected to being able to hear quite a bit of noise from the hallways both late in the evenings and early in the morning which prevented many from getting a good night’s sleep.

Guests reported several maintenance-related issues ranging from slow draining showers through to faulty electrical equipment and sockets. Guests who reported the problems to staff said they were resolved efficiently.

The beds feature firmness adjusting controls however, many guests were unable to adjust the mattresses to their individual preferences with many stating that the beds were rather hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.
