Positive Reviews
positive:
Very good location
Guests liked the location for all sorts of reasons. One big one was that, like the town itself, the immediate area around the hotel was said to be pedestrian friendly. So guests had no problems at all walking to a couple of good restaurants in the neighborhood when they were looking for a bite to eat.
positive:
Great staff all round
The overwhelming majority of guests found the staff to be friendly, professional and a credit to the hotel. Guests mentioned that they were especially good when things didn’t quite go 100%. They always seemed to be able to make a plan and meet guest’s expectations.
positive:
Attractive interior design
Guests were really impressed with the design and general appearance of the lobby and other public areas of the hotel. The hotel has made use of vibrant colors that many often dislike, but guests said that it was done so well that the effect was beautiful.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast not complimentary
Guests were clearly not happy about having to pay for breakfast at the hotel. Most felt that, given their room rate, and the general nature of the hotel, it should have been included.
negative:
Unattractive pool area
A number of guests mentioned that nobody ever seemed to use he pool, or even spend time in that area. Some speculated that it was because the area was very small and crowded, and did not look anywhere near as attractive as the other public areas.
negative:
Noisy fridges
A number of guests reported that the fridges in their room were unusually noisy. If they were not actually intending to use them, some simply unplugged them so they could get a better night’s sleep.
