Guests who ordinarily have problems sleeping are quick to point out the unbroken serenity afforded them in restful rooms. The combination of king-size custom beds with crisp linens, blackout blinds and thick walls and windows conspires to ensure the perfect conditions for the perfect night’s rest.

While the surrounding streets are bursting with fabulous dining options, guests highly recommend trying the offerings at the in-house restaurant at least once. The welcome here is warm, the staff are kind and attentive and the food is masterfully prepared by culinary artisans skilled in traditional Columbian cuisine.

Bilingual receptionists are a welcoming first point of contact, the concierge is exceptionally helpful with tour bookings and restaurant recommendations, and breakfast staff remember food and drinks preferences from one day to the next. Despite the safety of the surrounds, reviewers are grateful for the ever-present security staff.

One of very few consistent concerns comes from guests who find the elongated check-in process a little tiresome. While the staff than manage the reception desk are often praised for their professionalism, a number of guests have had a long wait on arrival before receiving their room key.

For many guests, issues with the paid Wi-Fi have sullied otherwise excellent stays. Intermittent reception and slow upload/download speeds render all but the basics an impossibility, which, for leisure travellers, is a minor annoyance, but, for business people, is reason enough never to return.

Negative reviews for this establishment are rare. Occasionally, a guest gripes about a lack of view from the room, the small gym or the underwhelming breakfast buffet. These instances are, however, indicative of sporadic slipups, and in no way reflective of the excellence enjoyed by most.
