Positive Reviews
positive:
Spacious, family-friendly apartments.
Guests comment on how quiet and spacious the apartments are, which makes them a great choice for families. It feels a million miles from Lanzarote's club scene, so if you're looking for something away from the crowds, this is it.
positive:
Showstopper location close to the beach.
There isn't an apartment in the whole complex which doesn't offer a stunning view of the carefully-tended gardens, and many also have a view of the sea. Plus, it's just a short walk down to the beach - you'll feel like you're in paradise.
positive:
Well-maintained facilities throughout.
If you have an eye for style and high standards of cleanliness, this might just be the place that lives up to your expectations. Guests generally praise the housekeeping and upkeep of the complex, which is spotless and chic.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The apartments are up a steep hill.
The only disadvantage to those gorgeous views are that you have to hike up a hill in order to enjoy them. For moderately fit guests, it's not a problem, but the pedestrian-only hilltop position of the apartments is something to be aware of.
negative:
You have to pay for extras.
While guests praise the overall value of Hg Lomo Blanco, they don't appreciate all the extra charges incurred. Items which often come free, including satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and safes, all have to paid for separately.
negative:
The restaurant food seems overpriced.
Many guests rate the snack bar by the pool for quick bites and drinks, but the main restaurant is less impressive, with lots of visitors saying it's overpriced, and not great quality. Luckily, there's a wide choice of eateries nearby.
