Guests definitely thought very highly of the hotel’s staff. They found that they were both friendly and professional, with the kind of attitude that made them easy to approach when guests had a question or concern.

Guests passing by reception in the afternoon loved that they could quickly crab a delicious freshly baked cookie. The hotel puts these out every afternoon and guests felt they were a great way to bridge the gap between lunch and dinner.

Guests loved that they were close to the Oakdale Mall. Although it seems most had engagements that took the much further afield, they nevertheless liked that all their shopping needs could be met so close to home.

Guests were not very impressed with the equipment in the fitness center. They had clearly been expecting more than the handful of machines that were there and felt that they couldn’t really get in a decent workout with what was available.

Despite being close to an interstate exit, a surprising number of guests mentioned that the hotel was hard to find. It seems that most GPS navigation systems have trouble with the address, taking motorists off the best path to get to the hotel and causing a good deal of confusion. Also, it was said to be behind several buildings and not visible from the street.

An extraordinary number of guests highlighted the fact that their room did not have a fridge. They certainly were expecting one, perhaps due to experiences at other Hampton Inn’s and were very disappointed that they had no way to keep their cold drinks nice and cold.
