Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton (Binghamton, USA)

A number of travelers stayed at the hotel due to a business meeting or conference being staged at the hotel. These guests rated the meeting spaces positively, commenting they were comfortable and well serviced during their stay.

The famous warm cookie on arrival is a Doubletree staple and this Doubletree did not disappoint, with repeat and seasoned Doubletree customers rating their cookie experience positivley and new customers delighting at the warm melty goodness that greeted them on arrival.

Guests who stayed in rooms overlooking the river consistently mentioned the water vistas in their comments with this being the highlight of their stay. These guests also left comments for future travelers to request this side of the building.

Guests were not overly impressed by the breakfast that was prepared by hotel catering staff, with some going so far to specifically mentioned the ordinary and rubbery eggs and uninspiring continental selection, as not meeting their morning breakfast expectations.

Guests found the service, particularly by the front desk staff, slow with some commenting that they seemed disinterested and distracted by having a good time with their colleagues rather than providing exceptional service to their guests.

The remnants of previous guests were witnessed by a number of new guests and their review comments were not very complimentary regarding the cleaning staff at the hotel. Some guests also failed to have a daily turndown service which left them disappointed at the standards of this Doubletree.
