Nice area for restaurants and nightlife
You will find that a long day of sightseeing can really take its toll on your energy and the last thing you will want to worry about is finding a place to find some dinner. Luckily, this area has dozens of dining options, French and international, for you to enjoy. After dinner, you can grab a drink at one of the many bars and cafes, some with outdoor terraces so that you can watch the world go by.
positive:
Walk or use the metro
Previous guests really loved the hotel's location near Bastille, Canal Saint Martin and the Marais district that are all within walking distance. If you prefer to use public transport, there are two metro stations nearby that can take you to various destinations throughout the city.
positive:
Sweet staff
Even though the hotel offers simple facilities, the staff goes above and beyond expectations. Paris can be very daunting to navigate but the reception is always open to answer your questions and to give you directions.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No tea kettle to come home to
After a long day in Paris, and most often in the rain, some guests thought that their experience at the hotel would have been better with a tea kettle service in the rooms, however, the lack of this item did not ruin their overall experience.
negative:
The rooms are quite small
A general complaint amongst most guests in any hotel in Paris is about the size of the rooms. Space is limited in the city and this hotel is no exception, however, most guests found that the rooms were cosy.
negative:
No air conditioning
One of the general complaints about the hotel is their lack of air conditioning. In the summer months this can pose as a problem but outside of the summer season, you will find that Paris can be a bit chilly.
