The hotel is situated close to the élysée Palace, and guests feel that a location good enough for the French Prime Minister is certainly good enough for them. It is also close to the Louvre and of course metro stations, so all of Paris is easily accessible.

The hotel is in the midst of updating its rooms, and many guests report being upgraded to better rooms, since all standard rooms were occupied or being renovated. The reviews seem to show a hotel of two halves, those from guests in rooms that had been renovated and those from guests in unrenovated rooms. The unrenovated rooms were not much liked. As of March 2016 the renovation project seems to still be ongoing.
