Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent location for travellers
It's a seven minute walk to Gare Du Nore, which is one of six large terminus stations of the mainline network to Paris. Guests love the location because it connects them to both airports as well as the Parc De Expos. You don't even need your own vehicle for this vacation.
positive:
Vibrant night life
You will love the fact that you can walk out of the front door and have an array of fine restaurants, cafes and bars within a short walk. At night the city comes alive to bright lights, great music and guests can shop till they drop too.
positive:
Wi-Fi was perfect
The Wi-Fi signal at de Bordeaux Hotel has received many compliments from visitors for working perfectly. Most travellers do not expect the hotel Wi-Fi to be as good as it might be at home, however you can be quite confident you will stay connected here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Needs a little attention
Guests say that the rooms were comfortable and well heated, however they were basic, and did not have a kettle, while some of the windows opened, others did not. Regardless, almost all guests were happy with the fact that the rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy.
negative:
Street noise may bother light sleepers
The bright, vibrant streets down below may seem great for those who enjoy late night activities, however some of the guests at de Bordeaux suggested booking a room at the back of the hotel if you value your sleep. It is much quieter there.
negative:
Questionable customer service
It seems like the luck of the draw with customer service levels at this hotel. While most guests have been quite satisfied with their check-in and out procedure, there have been a number of complaints about one or two particular staff at reception.
