Positive Reviews
positive:
Guest rooms are surprisingly spacious
The vast majority of guests really appreciated that the rooms here are - even by Western standards - really quite spacious indeed. The fact that they're also incredibly well-appointed (saunas, Jacuzzis, massage chairs, karaoke machines and games consoles are common amenities) went down well too.
positive:
Lots of freebies in the bathrooms
In addition to towels, toothbrushes, toiletries and slippers, many visitors have been thrilled to find complimentary face-packs, hair masks and bath robes waiting for them in the guest bathrooms. Some accommodations even provide hair straighteners and curlers!
positive:
Personnel make a big effort
Numerous guests have been bowled over by the accommodating staff members here as they really do try their utmost to help ensure guests enjoy a truly memorable stay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Inconvenient location is a too far out
A great many visitors have noted that, whilst the neighbourhood itself is not without amenities, this location is just too far away from the city centre to be convenient. Having to walk a good 15-minutes to get to the nearest metro stop doesn't help matters much either.
negative:
Guest rooms offer some unconventional added extras
It is fair to say very few guests were prepared to find a lingerie mini-store, pack of condoms and an adult vending machine in their rooms upon arrival. There's even a machine for changing bank notes into coins, just in case you run out of cash.
negative:
Everything's in Japanese
Many visitors have noted that there isn't really much provision for non-Japanese speakers at this hotel. Evidently, everything from following signage and choosing an option from the room service menu to setting up a karaoke machine or games console can be quite a challenge for those who don't speak the local lingo.
