Guests who visited this accommodation felt that the rustic charm of the area is all they needed for a relaxing break. The location is far enough away from the city, so you won't be disturbed by the sounds of traffic rushing by. You will probably be able to hear the rustling of the leaves in the wind.

If you are not in the mood to cook, then just head out to Peppercorn Grille towards Big Bear Lake. Guests have described the food as some of the best in the area. If you are looking for a small fun place for breakfast, then Grizzly Manor Cafe will do the trick.

You will be greeted by friendly hosts and a plate of delicious home-made cookies on arrival. Many tired travellers said they felt the lodge gave them the sense of a home-away-from-home vibe, and they felt relaxed and comfortable there.

If you visit during the summer months, you could be in for a slightly uncomfortable sleep. Guests said the evenings were unbearably hot, and they felt that an air-conditioning unit was urgently needed in each room.

The walls are thin between the rooms, and many guests complained that they could hear their next door neighbours loud TV and all their conversations. Make sure you bring your ear plugs with.

Most guests referred to the TV's in the rooms as wonky and old, and felt that they did not fit in with the rest of the well-kept rooms. Remotes were a little unreliable, and guests said they would like to see upgraded TV's next time.
