Hotel Frón (Reykjavík, Iceland)

Located on the city's main shopping street, a diverse array of sights and entertainment is easy to find, and mostly all within walking distance.

The apartments are well-stocked with kitchen appliances, including refrigerators and ovens.

The rooms have parquet floors and a clean, Scandinavian look. Rooms are reportedly kept clean and have excellent en suite bathroom facilities.

Some parts of the hotel are very quiet, but the street facing rooms can get noisy. There is a lot of action on the street at night, and it might be best for guests in street facing rooms to bring earplugs.

For the most part, staff do an excellent job at Fron. However, on some occasions, guests have said their service was drastically different depending on which member of staff they spoke to. Some on the team seem more motivated than others.

The curtains are not large enough for the windows, meaning that light gets in at night, keeping some travellers awake.
