Considering the excellent standard of the accommodation here, guests have found the rooms and cottages reasonably priced. The various freebies offer additional value and the property is found to be particularly cost-effective when travelling with a large group.

Guests have found the location of this property appealing. The village of Seamer is said to be quite charming with some great shops and dining spots to visit. Plus, you'll find that Scarborough and the coast are within easy reach, as is the lush landscape of the nearby national park.

While the accommodation has proved consistently impressive to guests, the same cannot be said for the restaurant. While some guests have been pleased with their meal, others have reported various disappointments so it does seem that the dining here can be a little hit and miss.

Along with an occasional bad meal, guests have fairly frequent problems with the standard of service in the restaurant. The staff is friendly enough but the wait times can be much longer than anyone would deem acceptable. Plus, the staff appears disorganised, so you may have several waiters ask if you want to order - or none at all. Bad service shouldn't be considered the norm here as there are many positive reviews too - but it is definitely a possibility.
