It’s only a 6-7 minute walk to the beach, if you want a change from lounging around the pool. Staff deserve a special mention, particularly the entertainers and their successful efforts to keep adults and children well entertained.
Breakfast and meals are, if anything, better than average with plenty of choice. A common complaint though is that they tend to serve food that is tepid, not hot. The pool is great and enhanced by the pool bar and snack bar serving wine, beer, juices and cocktails.
Rooms are fine and kept clean. It’s all very modern in design and towels are changed every day.
The hotel is geared very much to French guests, to the exclusion of others. There’s no point in making Ruth Madoc/Hi-de-Hi type announcements if they’re not understood by anyone but the French.
Exterior lighting at night is minimal. You can pay for room Wi-Fi but the free reception Wi-Fi isn’t very good. The pool is quite small with insufficient sun beds for the number of guests staying here. The gym is mucky with no air con.
Music is deafening and the Sports Bar is noisy. This is probably more noticeable because there is no quiet lounge area to go as an alternative.
