Hotel Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu (La Malbaie, Canada)

There are lots of activities near the hotel. Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu is conveniently situated next to the Charlevoix Casino and can be reached by a tunnel on cold nights. The 27-hole golf course at Murray Bay Golf Club is a favorite of many guests and can be reached on foot. Two ski resorts, Mont Grand-Fonds and Le Massif are a short drive away. In addition, horse-riding and other seasonal activities area available at or near the hotel.

Guests loved the fitness center, which also has a separate kids' fitness area. The spacious gym is well-laid out with modern equipment. If you'd like to take your workout outside, around the resort you'll also find lots of trails, perfect for a morning jog or just enjoying nature.

The salt-water pool stays pleasantly warm, even on very chilly nights. Guests say they enjoyed the pool areas very much.

Although room layouts and sizes vary, guests staying in the standard rooms thought the accommodations were too small for their liking. The bathroom, too, they thought was a bit cramped.

While the hotel offers valet parking (surcharge), it also offers free self-parking, but guests say it's a bit of a walk from a hotel. Most guests didn't mind the distance but it can be problematic if you have a lot to carry.

Some of the restaurants have seasonal-based all day closures or limited hours. Make sure you double check with the hotel prior to making dinner plans.
